I just wanna say I'm so glad they didn't make Ruby get back together with Otis or have her accept his pathetic friendship offer after the way he treated her all season like, she deserves so much better. And it's time she realised that. Periodt.

#poorly drawn odyssey#the odyssey#odysseus#penelope#epic the musical#Epic's version was very sweet and very well executed (and so cathartic!)#But Odyssey Penelope is *so* done with all the bullshit at this point in the story.#Credit where it is due; at this point she's been through a lot.#And to top if all off - her own son and one of the few maids on her side are buying into this (supposed) ruse.#This cannot have been the only time someone tried to pull this trick on her either.#Its the contrast between: 'Oh you're My husband?' and 'Ohh *sureeee* you're my husband. Just like the 30 other 'Odys' before you.'#The olive tree bed trick is a great gambit because it really is the final test to verify his identity.#I'm just a sucker for couples who have a secret only they know between them I suppose!#The match each other in will and wit! They will always find each other!!!#Anyways. The Odyssey is a worthwhile read and I highly recommend it. Epic is also a great musical worth checking out.

Eddie spends a month trying to tell Steve that he’s gay without actually saying it because Steve has decided as his adult male best friend that he needs to get Eddie a girlfriend. Eddie does not want a girlfriend.
Eventually he’s just like, “You know how Robin is…Robin? I’m like that, but Eddie.”
“Riiiight,” Steve says but what he’s apparently thinking is, ‘Eddie likes alternative chicks. Should’ve guessed that.’ Because the setups don’t stop.
Everything comes to an eventual point and Eddie just explodes like ‘gay! gay!’ His noodle arms are flailing all over the place so Steve thinks he’s gesturing at him.
Steve’s just like, “No, man. I’m not gay. I like girls too.”
“What now?” Eddie stops. “Too? I had a chance this whole time?!”
“What are you talking about? I’m not a girl.”
“Oh my god.”

Did Danny abuse the fact the GIW needed his parents tech. Yes of course. Danny not phantom seemed to be the trouble maker as of late. His parent threatened to withhold tech and blue prints from them if the GIW touched their kids.
Did he get caught breaking ember and boxy out of a government facility? yes. He expected the lecture he got.
The next jail break. It was not him. It was sam, Then the third. Also not him. That was Val… then it was Tucker. But not him.
The blame fell on him.
He did not expect to be shipped out of state. The GIW were happy to cover all costs. Even got him into a decent highschool. And had an apartment all arranged.
Gotham?
Not where he was expecting.
The assassination attempts. Also surprising.
Not so surprising. Tucker found out the GIW wanted to “silence” him. Offering a lot of money.
Of course his parents don’t listen. He is 15 perfectly fine to be all alone. Even if he is near some place with the nickname crime alley. Nope. He is just being dramatic. They tell him no one wants him dead.

Stories involving ghosts and spirits aren't too common in the ATLA fandom (which is just sad).#That's the main reason I started writing FTS—to explore the spirit world and the endless possibilities it brings to the table.#Yue's backstory and Uncle Iroh's spirituality have always been so fascinating to me. Now I get the chance to explore that world through Zuko#Kya won't be a recurring character. She's connected to her home and the Old Tribe so I don't think we'll be seeing much of her in the future#But we don't need to. She's a vision of home. A past you cannot return to. The spirits of loved ones who watch over you.#She makes an impact on the present through her connection with the past. And I think that's beautiful.

man I know I shouldn't jump in on Wicked discourse but I keep seeing people calling Glinda the "villain" of Wicked and it's driving me nuts because I really don't think it's as simple as that
imo Glinda's story is a very Shakespearean style tragedy about a white feminist (liberal) politician. Her hamartia is her desire to be accepted by the oppressive ruling class, while her internal conflict is her struggle to be perceived as "good." She was influenced just enough by her marginalized activist friend to feel crushing awareness of her own place in the fascist system, but they were separated before she was able to fully reach self actualization and pursue a more fulfilling goal. Her tragic downfall is that she got exactly what she thought she wanted, but through her incomplete character arc she found that it was actually cold and hollow and lonely. Yeah she's a shitty selfish person and she dug her own grave but she's not the villain, she's the tragic anti-hero
